I have a blog from 2002 [link]. Every year I stamp in paper and bind in format free.
This photo is genial for the cover of the book.
I am not going to commercialize it, it is alone at the personal level and of friends.
I can send a copy in pdf if to you are interested.
I would like to possess his assent to use this photography in the book.
If it's just for personal/friends use that's fine, I have to officially say you have no rights over it etc. but feel free to use it for your blog, I'd be interested in seeing a copy too. This is really quite flattering thankyou
beautiful shot! defiantly a !!
in this forum i posted [want more comments?] i must have looked at at least 100 or so people's art and i think i have chosen about 10 favorites so far. [and i have 6 more people's art left to go through]
so the fact that i like this one enough is probably rooted from the fact that even though i have seen many beaches and landscapes, etc, this one stands out BECAUSE of hannah and her stance, just as you said. this is so beautiful!!!
I love the contrast of the colors in this, the deep blue, the white and the dark colors of the rock. The way you framed it with the border makes that stand out even more. I think your model is a great 'extra' in this, cause like you said: it would've been a cliche. I don't think the 'mood' in the photo would've been the same if there wasn't a model posing this great pose. I love the fact that you can't really see her facial expressions, but then again, her pose says it all. What I also like a lot is that the contrast of the ocean/sea and rocks are also visible in her clothes, the dark and white.
Think you did good on the focussing. When I look at the rocks in the front of the photo it's like I just have to stretch my arm to be able to touch it.
I agree with your cliche comment. I really like this cause it's candid. You seem to do a lot of portraits but as far as artistic qualities I think this one is the best but they are all good. I'm not really that good at taking pictures I don't even have a camera.
The water here looks as sharp and hard as the rocks that she's standing upon.
It should be clichéd, but it isn't and I can't understand how it ever could be, its too vicious and alive to be anything ordinary.
The more I look at it, the more I get tingles racing up and down my spine. Its so beautiful and deep.
